Facebook in Real Life

The video below, while somewhat crude in its delivery, captures how our online behavior might look in real life.  It’s humorous and funny to watch, especially for those of us who’ve had “friends” like these find us on Facebook, but it’s also a great lesson.  What we say and share, and how we behave online becomes who we are, as seen by countless people..

When you hit “enter” or “send” and your message (or picture) goes out into cyberspace, there is no taking it back. It’s important to have a clear idea of who you are and how you want to be perceived professionally before you ever start typing.  These tools are really great, often free ways to establish your brand online and TechShorties can help you do this quickly and effectively!

NOTE: This video contains some off-color humor. So if you find that offensive, you may want to skip this one.

Imagine what would happen if your interactions on Facebook were translated into real life. As this video shows, the results might be quite disturbing. ;)
