QUESTION:
If not to talk about my listings and sell people on hiring me as an agent, what else do I have to write about in a blog?
TS ANSWER: Great question! We hear this question a LOT. If you haven’t downloaded and read “Paradigm Shifts in Real Estate” please do this first. Grasping proper use of tools online requires a shift in your own thinking. Then we teach you the fundamentals of each of these tools and how best to use them.
In the case of blogging, as we have written in our main topic today, you have a lot of information in your head and at your fingertips that the general public around you does not. Whether actively buying or selling a house, people love to know what’s going on in real estate in their neighborhoods, towns and cities.
You, as an agent or broker, have that information. By sharing it freely with your local market, people begin to listen to and respect you as an authority on your market. By regularly reminding these people of your expertise (sharing information) you solidify your position in their minds, and when they are ready to buy or sell a house, they are going to call you first. Trust me, we see it happen all the time.
