3 Reasons To Have A Weekly Blog Series

Some days little gems of ideas and information fall out of my head, and I know exactly what needs writing on that day. Other days I struggle to find just the right words or topic and spend far too much time rambling around my favorite online communities for inspiration.

Sound familiar? If you’ve been blogging for long I know it does. This is where a set of regular, weekly updates will save you lots of time and energy. Here’s what producing a weekly blog series will do for you:

  1. Keep you on track and make you an efficient blogger. If you know that every Thursday you are going to write a new post about this weeks changes in your local housing market, then you waste no time deciding what to write about. You just sit down and produce the report and post it.
  2. Keep your readers coming back. When readers know they can count on new information being posted to your blog on a regular basis, they are far more likely to add your blog to their feed readers and keep reading your updates
  3. Earn you new clients. The blog doesn’t land your new clients – you do, using the blog to interact with your community. As folks learn to rely on your consistent efforts on your blog, you earn a sense of trust and respect with them, not to mention automatically earning a position of authority in local real estate in their perspective. When they are ready to buy or sell their homes, who do you think is going to come to mind first? They already chose you, before their need for an agent ever arose.

Becoming a blogger takes time, effort and a little patience. Becoming a respected blogger requires a few additional things: persistence, efficiency, and a strategy. Don’t go online without them!
